Hi, I have just updated to P3d 4.2 and i cant find my email with my details of purchase or registration key for FSUIPC5, is there anyway of finding it on your data base by providing my email address.
The thing I notice most about the registered version of FSUIPC is the ability to have random icing and random turbulence within clouds, which really keep you on your toes. It also allows you to set infinite battery, and set aircraft specific key commands. It also lets you curve you flight controls (More sensitive in certain areas). Visibility and wind smoothing are also a big plus.Hi Joseph, Is the 'random icing' even modeled?
I have always had it on and was just wondering if you ever noticed anything. I haven't, yet anyway;). I know I could have posted such a topic on Pete's forum but I think the community is more alive here. So, What are the fundamental differences between the free (unregistered) version of FSUIPC vs the full (registered) version? If I am perfectly capable to fly using a free version, what's in it for me to buy a fully licenced product?I hope some of you can answer this quesiton and provide insight as to what the full version offers to the simmers that they can't get using the free version. The paid version unlocks all of the features that are greyed out in the free version. I bought it primarily to gain full control of my yolk; rudder throttles e.t.c and weather settings including calibration of those settings. Most everything otherwise works as well on the free version although there is the occasional add-on (producer will usually state.
Sorry to be such a newby BUT how hard is it to use as it sounds a bit complicated? Are you prompted, when you want to do things, or do you have to alter FSX 'files'? I am okay with changing controls, settings and sensitivities in FSX and doing some things with config files.
Not sure about this. Does it run w/n or outside of FSX? I am interested primarily, so far, in wind smoothing and auto saving. Also maybe 'curving some of my flight controls', if I am understanding that right. Any 'for dummies' manuals on this out there some where Thanks!!

Hello spad.log is from my last clean install and configured only landing and taxi lights in switch panel, and landing lights for BIP. Switch panel is also not working, p3d version is 2.5 and PMDG 737 NGX.
But I tried with default P3d aircraft, same. I noticed that, lights on BIP immediately flashes when I turn Landing lights on or off (with clicking in 3D aircraft cocpit) after pause mode, and turning back to spad.next, they illuminates normally. I also was able to configured Landing lights in Switch panel only with Keyboard keypress mode, was not able to success with simulation offset data or simulation control. Software is in demo mode. Thanks in advance. Hi, The BIP-Config looks ok to me from the log and screenshot. According to the Log no data is coming from FSUIPC or not being processed, maybe because all panels are 'virtually' unpowered.
According to the screenshot the BIP has no 'virtual Aircraft Power', then it will not display anything. In default configuration this means the 'Master Battery switch' is off in the aircraft. You can left-click on the small gear on the upper right side of the BIP to force it into 'ON' mode. ( Default Power-Configuration for the Panels: Switch & BIP = MASTER BATTERY, Radio & Multi = AVIONICS MASTER ) I would need the profile you are testing with to look deeper into that, if it's not just the 'virtual power' missing. Have you tried loading the 'default - FSUIPC Base' profile? It's preconfigured with Switch/Multi/Radio Panel. If the Landinglights also do not work in 'default - FSUIPC Base', I'll send you instructions via PM how to enable debug logging.
Don't bother testing with SimConnect and PMDG. SimConnect & PMDG are registered only features. If you want to check those out, request a trial license ( Settings Registration-Get Activation Key-Request Trial License) -Ulrich. Hey Ulrich, thank you very much for your help. It is working, with setting the default FSUIPC profile (as mandatory, copying that system profile to a new named profile.) Landing light and parking brake, which I added to my test is working.
In the picture that I sent to you above, you saw the BIP panel remains at offline while I was testing. This tool is awesome for Saitek Panels, its time to buy now:) please allow me to ask below Questions, 1. Is this tool compatible with Prepar3d 3.0, and Fsx Steam edition? If we have PMDG 737 and also 777, can we use all Saitek Panels especially multi panel with full functionality? Latest FSUIPC 4.946 is running, but I don't know If I must configure something at FSUIPC side, or P3D or PMDG configurations in order to allow all Saitek stuff work 4.
There are 4 profiles, default fsuipc, simconnect base, 737 and 777. Is there a document that explains differences? For example when I want to use 777 PMGD, do I need to swith to 777 profile?
Or better is configure a different profile for each aircraft? Hi, Glad you got it working 1) yes 2) Yes.
For both aircrafts we provide preconfigured base profiles 3) Nothing needs to be configured in FSUIPC. PMDG Stuff runs via SimConnect, this has to be enabled in SPAD.neXt and the simulator (which it is by default). Also PMDG both must be SP2 (!! ) and the SDK inside PMDG must be enabled.
You can check and (heavy work in progress there) how to check and enable it manually. The upcoming release 0.7 of SPAD.neXt will have a configuration wizard checking and doing this for you 4) The description of the profiles can be seen when you hover over the name. Basically: If you head for PMDG stuff, i would recommend to completely rely on SimConnect and disable FSUIPC in SPAD.neXt. It saves some CPU time.
All PMDG (and the upcoming LVAR-Support) require SimConnect anyway. As for the default profiles: default - FSUIPC Base: A basic Profile with Switch-/Multi-/Radio-Panel configured only using FSUIPC-Connection. (this is good for the free SPAD.neXt Version) default - SimConnect Base: Equal to the default - FSUIPC base, but using only SimConnect default - PMDG.: A basic profile for the PMDG 777/737 with Switch-/Multi-/Radio-Panel configured (again SimConnect only) 737 needs the 737 Profile, 777 the 777 Profile, since PMDG coded them differently. If would recommend to create a profile for each 'type' of aircraft and then assign that profile to the aircrafts.
One for Props, one for 4-Engine aircrafts, and then special profiles for special aircrafts like PMDG or when you create special stuff for aircrafts.
